MADabolic, the first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, announces its newest gym will open in Austin, Texas, at 2900 West Anderson Lane. The gym will operate under owners Jon Guida and Corbin Jennings and is part of a broader expansion effort to bring MADabolic Austin’s presence from one location to four over the coming years.
Jon is the owner of MADabolic Austin’s original location. Corbin owns several MADabolic studios across the Washington, D.C., metro and earlier this year signed an agreement to add 12 units in the greater Phoenix market to his portfolio.
Located in Austin’s Northwood Shopping Center, the new studio will make MADabolic’s results-driven training program more accessible to the city’s north side.
“Our original location has been a bit of a hidden gem in Austin,” said Jon of his first MADabolic studio, which has been in operation on the south side of the city since 2017. “The city has continued to see significant growth, and we’ve built a strong client base over our time in operation. It only made sense to bring this offering across the city to meet the growing demand.”
Jon is a former professional basketball and volleyball player who was first introduced to MADabolic as a client at the brand’s Raleigh, North Carolina, location nearly a decade ago. “When MADabolic opened in Raleigh, I expected it to be just like every other fitness class my wife would take me to. But when we walked onto the training floor, I knew MADabolic offered something different. This is a true strength-driven training program, and the scalability of the programming makes this a sustainable fitness option for anyone looking to build strength and age athletically. MADabolic is uniquely suitable for any fitness level. Years into the training program, I can say I’m in better shape now than I was as a professional athlete,” shared Jon.
“The strategic location of the north Austin studio is a reflection of Jon and Corbin’s expertise paired with the support of our site selection team,” said Rick Del Sontro, President of MADabolic. “Austin is a strong market for MADabolic, and Jon and Corbin are knowledgeable and tenacious legacy franchise partners who know how to scale while delivering the high-quality training experience that is signature to MADabolic.”
Rooted in science, MADabolic’s distinctive fat-torching interval system is crafted around intentional work-to-rest ratios, offering a challenging yet scalable workout for a wide range of clients. The boutique concept attracts the everyday go-getter who prioritizes health and fitness.
MADabolic has nearly 85 studios operating or in development across the country. The new studio in Austin builds on the brand’s growing presence in Texas. MADabolic has studios open in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas, with additional openings expected soon in McAllen, Plano, and Houston.
MADabolic is rooted in strength, structure, and accountability. From a top-notch strength-biased training program to robust operating systems to help owners thrive to a team of experts behind the brand, MADabolic provides franchise owners the tools for success in any market.
