MADabolic, the industry’s first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, has opened the doors to its first location in the northeast. Located in Stamford, Connecticut’s Harbor Point neighborhood, the studio will operate under Laura Conover and her husband and business partner Greg. MADabolic delivers a world-class interval-based strength training program that uniquely prioritizes strength, structure, and accountability.
Laura is originally from neighboring Fairfield (CT), but she and Greg were first introduced to the concept while they lived in the Washington D.C. area and attended classes at the brand’s Arlington location. The Stamford studio, located at 850 Canal Street, will deliver a unique take on group fitness to the local market. “MADabolic is unlike other fitness concepts in the way it is rooted in strength, the brand’s balanced yet progressive approach to programming, the consistent training standards, and the structured focus on training to age athletically,” shared Laura. She brings nearly a decade of experience working for other national fitness franchises as an instructor and in sales and operations. “Because of the focus and intentionality behind everything MADabolic does, it fills a void in the fitness space, creating greater progress and more sustainable results for members.”
MADabolic’s distinctive training system is uniquely focused on strength as its base and is crafted entirely around work-to-rest ratios. Further, MADabolic emphasizes quality trainers who can provide one-on-one coaching, helping clients move safely and progressively. The concept’s programming offers clients a training system that commands a comprehensive approach to strength training and aging athletically.
“MADabolic Stamford marks our first location to open in the northeast region, and we’re excited about the statement this makes for our growth trajectory as we continue to expand in major markets across the country,” said Brandon Cullen, MADabolic’s Co-Founder and Chief Concept Officer. “Laura and Greg are great partners to champion this effort for the brand, and with Laura’s background in both the training side plus the sales and operations side of the fitness industry, we believe her background will be a great asset in her ownership journey.”
The MADabolic Stamford team is kicking things off with a “Free Week of MADness” January 17-23, 2022 to introduce the new studio to the city. Founding memberships will remain available for a limited time. For more information, visithttps://www.madabolic.com/location/Stamford
In addition to a world-class strength-focused training program, MADabolic is known for providing an excellent franchise partnership. The concept’s approach to franchising blends proven systems, robust training, and extensive resources for owners with a unique-to-the-industry human element, setting franchise owners up for success.
The new studio in Stamford comes as MADabolic kicks off what looks to be the brand’s best year yet. Over the last month, MADabolic has opened studios in Alexandria (VA), Charlottesville (VA), and Dupont (Washington, D.C.), with several openings slated for early 2022, including Nashville (TN), Silver Lake (TX), Santa Cruz (CA), and Brooklyn (NY). MADabolic has nearly 70 studios operating or in development and continues to seek qualified franchise candidates. Ideal MADabolic franchisees are driven and passionate individuals that members can look up to as role models, ranging from former elite-caliber athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts.
