MADabolic Announces New Agreement in Alpharetta, GA

Posted on June 17, 2022 in Franchise

MADabolic, the first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, announces that a new agreement has been signed to bring the concept to Alpharetta, Georgia, under the ownership of Melissa and Matt Knowles.

Melissa and Matt each bring decades of experience in the health and wellness industry to their MADabolic ownership journey. Melissa began her career in personal training before moving into corporate leadership roles in the industry. In 2014, she launched a professional services business for fitness concepts that was later acquired by ClubReady. She is currently a member of the executive leadership team at Glofox, a gym management software company, where she supports fitness franchise brands. Matt has spent his career in athletic training. He currently leads a sports medicine program at Northside Hospital in Gwinnett County. While their background in the industry will be a strong asset in their ownership journey, Melissa and Matt will hire a general manager and team of trainers to manage the day-to-day operations of the studio.

The duo was drawn to MADabolic for the brand’s clear focus on strength training and commitment to its core demographic. “Not only is MADabolic’s training program intelligent and sustainable as a long-term approach to fitness, MADabolic is clear on who they are, where their focus is, and the brand is comfortable with the fact that they might not be for everyone,” shared Melissa. “The industry is growing, and that’s especially true for brands like MADabolic that are clear and focused on delivering a high-quality product.”

Each MADabolic workout is crafted around intentional work-to-rest ratios. The brand emphasizes one-on-one coaching in a group environment to help all clients move safely and maximize strength gains. The training program appeals to high achievers yet is easily scalable for any fitness level.

“MADabolic has been uniquely able to crack the code to offer individual instruction in a group setting in a way I’ve never seen before,” added Melissa. “This really speaks to the structure and intentionality behind the brand, and the focus on longevity and progression makes MADabolic a smart choice for those who value a quality product and a safe, sustainable approach to aging athletically.”

MADabolic has over 75 studios operating or in development across the country. Rooted in science, the brand’s distinctive fat-torching interval system offers a challenging yet scalable workout for a wide range of clients. MADabolic’s approach to franchising blends support from a team of experts with proven systems, robust training, and extensive resources to optimize franchise owners’ success.  When it comes to strength, structure, and accountability, MADabolic delivers.
