Charlotte, NC – November 1, 2024 – MADabolic, the strength-driven interval training franchise, hosted its third annual franchise conference this October in Charlotte, NC, bringing together 90 attendees, including franchise owners and general managers. Held under the theme “Traction,” the conference drew inspiration from the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), emphasizing the importance of aligning each part of the business toward shared goals to foster sustainable growth and purposeful momentum.
“Bringing general managers into the conversation allowed us to create alignment across every level of the organization,” said Brandon Cullen, MADabolic Co-Founder. “Our goal was to set a strong foundation and provide tools that empower each location to move forward with clarity and confidence as we head into 2025.”
Gaining ‘Traction’ Through Alignment and Core Fundamentals
Keynote speaker and professional EOS implementer Mike Jones provided insight into the power of “traction”—the forward movement achieved when each team member is aligned with MADabolic’s core mission. While MADabolic is not officially promoting EOS, the framework inspired this year’s focus on gaining alignment across every role.
The conference provided owners and general managers with access to tools and resources essential for driving their businesses forward, including:
- Expanded Vendor Hall – Attendees explored a broader range of resources and partnerships, designed to support growth and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
- Kickoff at Rally Pickleball – An evening of friendly competition that set the tone for camaraderie and collaboration.
- Group Workouts and Networking Events – Daily workouts and networking opportunities, capped off by an evening at Merchant & Trade’s rooftop bar, strengthened bonds across the network.
A Renewed Focus on Franchise Culture and Alignment for 2025
MADabolic’s conference emphasized that franchise success extends beyond studio revenue. It is built on a foundation of culture, resilience, and the “right people in the right seats,” ensuring each team member is fully committed to the brand’s mission and expectations. Franchise partners left the conference with renewed strategies for refining hiring, enhancing retention, and strengthening team alignment across their locations.
“Our goal was simple: to reestablish the fundamentals that make MADabolic great,” said Kristi Wass, MADabolic’s VP of Marketing. “The energy generated at this year’s event is already driving action among our franchise partners, from team dynamics to setting clearer expectations.”
Looking Ahead: MADabolic’s Fourth Annual Conference in 2025
The fourth annual conference in 2025 will build on the foundation set this year, offering our franchise partners an evolving experience that balances actionable takeaways with the camaraderie of in-person connection. With MADabolic’s expansion into new markets, the next conference will welcome an even larger network of franchise partners and local management teams, reflecting the brand’s commitment to sustained growth.
