MADabolic Signs Franchise Agreement to Bring Strength-Driven Training to Baltimore

Posted on March 24, 2026 in Franchise

Charlotte, NC — MADabolic, the industry’s leading strength and conditioning franchise, announced a new franchise agreement to bring its structured strength and conditioning program to Baltimore, Maryland. The studio will be owned by longtime Baltimore resident Laura Cirincione.

Laura, a lifelong athlete who grew up playing soccer and lacrosse, first discovered MADabolic while visiting Asheville, North Carolina. “I needed a place to train and maintain a robust routine while I was in town,” said Laura. “MAD immediately stood out from every other group fitness class I’ve experienced. The focus on form, emphasis on real strength, and structured coaching felt different from anything else I had tried.”

After more than a decade living in Baltimore, Laura knows it is a natural fit for MADabolic’s disciplined training approach.

“Baltimore has this mix of culture, grit, and soul that I’ve always loved,” said Laura. “There are a lot of former athletes and high performers here who want structured strength training, but still enjoy the energy of a class environment. MADabolic fills that gap.”

The brand’s programming prioritizes approachable but effective strength development, movement quality, and long-term consistency through progressive movement patterns, structured work-to-rest ratios, and 1:1 coaching in a group setting. The system is designed to deliver sustainable results rather than chasing short-term fitness trends or extremes.

“Baltimore is a city that values hard work and authenticity,” said Brandon Cullen, co-founder and Chief Concept Officer of MADabolic. “Laura has the right work ethic and understands our philosophy and the type of community we aim to build. We’re excited to see MADabolic take root in a market that aligns so naturally with our brand.

”The Baltimore studio will join a strong regional network of MADabolic locations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, including five established studios in the DMV and additional locations in Philadelphia and Brooklyn.
