JACKSONVILLE, FL — MADabolic, the industry’s leading strength and conditioning franchise, has officially signed a lease for its first Jacksonville location, bringing its coach-led strength training system to the city’s historic San Marco neighborhood.
Located at 1722 Hendricks Avenue, MADabolic San Marco will be owned and operated by Chris Savery. The lease signing marks the next milestone following the franchise agreement announced earlier this year, with construction expected to begin this summer and an opening anticipated later this year.
San Marco has become one of Jacksonville’s most sought-after neighborhoods and provides an ideal setting for MADabolic’s focused training model.
Savery first discovered MADabolic while living in Asheville, North Carolina, where he experienced the brand’s structured approach to strength training firsthand. “Jacksonville has no shortage of gyms, but there are very few places built around structured strength training with professional coaching and measurable progression,” said Savery. “I’ve trained in a lot of different environments over the years, and what impressed me about MADabolic wasn’t just the workout—it was the structure. Every class has a purpose, members can measure their progress over time, and coaches know exactly how to help people improve. That’s something I felt Jacksonville was missing, and I’m excited to bring it here.”

The Jacksonville studio builds upon MADabolic’s existing footprint in Florida, joining existing studios in Oakland Park, Ybor City, and Jupiter, along with a recently announced location to come to Orlando’s Creative Village. The expansion follows the brand’s fourth Charlotte, NC, opening and second Houston, TX, studio, with additional locations coming soon to Durham, NC, Baltimore, MD, and Boston, MA.
