Frequently Asked Questions

For most adults, free-moving weights like kettlebells, dumbbells, and dballs are a safer and more effective way to train than barbells. Same results, much smaller injury risk. A barbell locks both hands into a fixed path and requires mobility through the shoulders, hips, ankles, and mid-back that most adults don't have. When you load heavy weight onto a body that can't quite get into position, the body finds a way to make it work, and that's usually how people get hurt. Free-moving weights let your body move the way it's actually built to move.

Building muscle is the most efficient way to lose fat long-term. More muscle means a higher resting metabolism. Cardio burns calories during the workout. Strength training burns them all day. Members drop body fat while the scale stays the same. They're trading fat for muscle.

Reservations must be cancelled within your respective location’s cancellation window (varies by franchise). If you fail to cancel, or do not show up for your scheduled class time, you will forfeit your session and be subject to your location’s late cancel/no-show fee.

Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your reserved class and be sure to check yourself in at the front desk kiosk. Class begins promptly at the scheduled time and the doors will lock. No entrance will be permitted once class begins, as the guidelines and demonstrations provided at the front end of class are critical to your safety. Be great, NOT late!

Plan to get here 15 minutes early. There's a quick bit of paperwork to knock out, and heads up, we can't let anyone join less than 5 minutes before class starts, so give yourself the buffer. Once paperwork's done, your coach will walk you through the whole day: every movement, every station, until you're comfortable with all of it. Then class starts. Fair warning, this is the part where people get hooked.
